Eye injections are deadly. Here is the data on a relatively new eye injection: EYLEA
In the study on this BAD drug, they report the following:
"Anti-Platelet Trialists' Collaboration: Four out of 136 patients died in the EYLEA 2Q4 group, 6 out of 135 patients in the EYLEA 2Q8 group, and 1 out of 133 patients in the laser treatment group."
Thus:
Treatment Group 1: 4 out of 136 people died.
Treatment Group 2: 6 out of 135 people died.
Control Group: 1 out of 133 people died.
What does this mean to YOU?
Group 1 with EYLEA: 300% increase in your risk of dying.
Group 2 with EYLEA: 500% increase in your risk of dying.
This is a DEADLY drug.
And, it has approximately the same risk of killing you as Lucentis, but is advertised as safer or having no real statistical increase in causing death.
. I call a 300% increase in death "statistically significant."
