Top Causes of Death

Heart disease first and cancer second, right?

By now, you should not trust what you are told.

Even the evil empires do not fully agree.

The Kaiser-Peterson network gets slightly closer. They have the courage to admit they do not know everything.

Are these "causes" of death helpful in determining methods to reduce deaths from the specific categories? You might think so, but none of the categories express a root cause.

What? - is answered

Why? - is NOT answered.

Therefore, these are NOT "causes" of death. Instead, they are the "symptoms" of dying.

Where can you find clues as to the #1 CAUSE of death?

The answer is surprising.

"Unfortunately, despite the enormous and continuing innovation in our system, we are failing in the post-market, clinical care part of the continuum. Our life expectancy is in decline, and other measures of our health status are also inferior to the outcomes experienced by those who live in other high-income countries. Our overall life expectancy has dropped to 76 years, and remarkably, JAMA Internal Medicine published yesterday that male life expectancy in the U.S. has dropped to 73 years. The Commonwealth Fund headline, “Accelerated Spending, Worsening Outcomes,”1 tells the story.

From the article:

"A doctor and nurses tend to a patient at University Hospital Leipzig on Nov. 18, 2021, in Leipzig, Germany. Germany spends less on health care per capita than the U.S. (by 2.5 times!), yet life expectancy at birth is nearly four years higher."

U.S. Moto - Spend more to die sooner!
Black Line - Average of 36 developed nations. U.S. Moto - Spend more to die sooner!

I mentioned a clue. What is it. We actually have 3 so far.

  1. Ill-defined conditions. Healthcare is in denial of chronic infections. I highly recommend everyone read the book, "plague time," by Paul Ewald. Start with the chapter titled, "stealth of the chronic." Ewald explains when and why medicine moved away from infectious disease as a cause of morbidity and mortality.

  2. The trend in early deaths in the U.S. started BEFORE SARS-CoV-2. This suggests "terrain" deficiencies.

  3. The "virus" and the "spike" dramatically accelerated early deaths. I will not argue with people who believe that COVID is not caused by a virus. OK - However, our bodies, by way of labs, CLEARLY show that our immune system responded to the "insult" similarly to how it responds to a pathogen. I prefer the term "pathogen" over virus, bacteria, etc.

The 3rd world brings insights into root-causes of deaths.

For those with visual issues: The number one cause of death among low-income countries worldwide in 2016 was lower respiratory infections, followed by diarrhoeal diseases. The death rate from lower respiratory infections was 75.8 deaths per 100,000 people.

Diarrhoeal diseases are infectious diseases. Many of these are solved with the Nobel Prize-winning therapeutic - Ivermectin.

What are the pharmaceuticals that save and extend lives? Please do NOT guess statins!

Antibiotics are among the most important discoveries of medical science. Analysis of infectious disease mortality data from the U.S. government reveals that antibacterial agents may save over 200,000 American lives annually, and add 5-10 years to U.S. life expectancy at birth.

"Ivermectin is an over 30-year-old wonder drug that treats life- and sight-threatening parasitic infections. Its lasting influence on global health has been so profound that two of the key researchers in its discovery and development won the Nobel Prize in 2015."

Reference not given because it is an article stating it is not effective against "COVID-19." I cannot fix stupid.

First world longevity also provides a mechanistic clue.

What do each nation have in common? Good "internal terrain," nutritionally, emotionally, and spiritually. America scores near the bottom of the list in all categories. Often, they have much better health systems. Korea (S) and Singapore stand out.

In a future blog I will go over a long list of reasons why Japanese experience the greatest longevity of any large nation.

We have known the reasons behind longevity and early mortality for a long time. However, just like your teenagers - they know more than you. Newer is better!

Who taught us the right lessons?

And a modern man who studied longevity of peoples from the mid-Victorian era, Dr. Paul Clayton.

The thesis of his studies is that hard work, family, and good nutrition is a winning longevity combination.

What are the actual leading CAUSES of death - IMHO

  1. Poor internal terrain - America as definitive proof

  2. Stealth infections that proliferate in poor terrain

  3. Lack of exercise that contributes to poor terrain

  4. Lack of social support from family and society.

America is a lose, lose, lose, lose environment.
